Soft Contact Pillow is an exploration in the erotic and surreal. The displacement of the genitals on the mundane and ubiquitous pillow invites both humor and comfort. The concept felt apt for the year 2020, a year lacking in human contact and touch. Representations of the penis and anus are meticulously fabricated in a pink mélange Kvadrat wool canvas and filled with organic shredded latex.
Soft Contact Pillow was a 3rd prize winner in the fantasy category for the 2020 Tom of Finland Emerging Artist Competition.
